Asau Jürek - crossing the desert in extreme conditions
The first Asau-Jurek crossing will take place at a distance of 160 km in the Aralkum desert.
Details of the transition
7-8 days
The duration of the trip is 7 days. The road and acclimatization take two days, and the transition takes 5 days.
Age: 21 and older
Passing a medical examination is mandatory.
300 000 KZT - the price includes transfer, accommodation in guest houses and tents.
The air temperature in the desert can reach +50°C during the day and drop to +10°C at night, so we recommend preparing the necessary sets of clothes.
Additional expenses may be associated with visits to the nature reserve, museums, cafes and shops.
Transition Dates: August 8-16 Departure from Almaty. Arrival in the village of Kazaly, then transfer to the village of Karateren, from where our passage along the bottom of the Aral Sea through the Barsakelmes Nature Reserve will begin. Finish in Kulandy village and transfer back to Kazaly. |
